Hi there ya all!

Good day to ya all   Well, the graduations of Jeanne's son Andy, and my son Chris are long gone, as of June 11th.  Andy, and two of his friends left today for Phoenix headed to a culinary institute down there.  They have a nice big U-Haul with a trailer to tow the car.  I sure hate to see them go, yet I have prayed that they have a safe trip.  It's a big trip for the first time.  Jeanne and I had a nice graduation party for Andy and Chris the day after they graduated, and it was fun.  Chris has decided to go to Spokane Falls Community College for two years, and then go on to a four year university.  He is still determined to become a teacher.  He just got another job as a customer service rep. for a bank, and has been in training the last week.  My son Bryan is still aboard ship in the Navy, supposedly around Australia.  He has been gone since the end of April, and should be back sometime in August.  Have sent emails, yet still waiting to receive emails from him.  He and his wife Michelle will be going on a trip some where after he arrives back in port. Bryan will have 11 years in the Navy in October, and has his bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering.  His wife Michelle also has a really good job too.  As for the home front here, I am doing as much as I can to enjoy life, despite all the pain I have.  It doesn't take much to hurt more, swell more, and become quite exhausted, so in the mean time, I find some fun things (crafts, etc.) to do.  Jeanne and I have a blast at one of our favorite web sites, which is  pogo.com.  This site has about every game anyone could ever want to play, and you can win money here, plus it is free.  If you want to double what you win, then you pay only $2.99 per month.  I have a couple of other interesting web sites for anyone who wants to visit.  They are  reopen911.org, and americanfreepress.net.  These are very interesting sites which I visit quite often as well. I use these last two sites to answer questions I have about things that just don't add up.  Any way, they are quite interesting, and eye opening to say the least.  I am also trying to sell some things on Ebay (the biggest yard sale all in one place), and have sold a couple of things.  I just don't always feel good enough to keep up on my selling, so I for sure won't get rich doing this, but it is another fun thing to do.  Chris is moving out of the house possibly next month, into his own apartment, and I am going to rent my basement to a friend of mine.  I also have a 1-1/2 year old German Shepherd female named Jordan, that I may breed this next year.  I have to make sure her hips are ok first though.  She is really smart, and catches on to things really fast, besides being a beautiful specimen of the breed.  She is also my protector, and am trying to teach her some things, so she can kind of be my helper around the house as well. My roses are in bloom, and my wonderful hibiscus are just now starting their blooming time.  I love to go out every morning and enjoy the beauty that God has helped me create.  I also have lots of sunflowers this year (as I wasn't able to do my yearly vegetable garden).  I like lots of sunflowers to come up each year because it attracts my Gold Finches, and I love to watch, and listen to them.  They are so cute.  My sister Jeanne, and I are planning on moving out to the country in a couple of years.  We want to move out to the valley, either northside, or southside. It will be a lot less noise, stress, etc.........

Well, I am going to go play some games, as I did enough house, and yard work in the last couple of days to truly do me in.  In other words, I wake up every morning, and wonder who beat me up during the night (tee hee hee).  I hope you all have a great day, and I will try to send another message in again soon.  Take care and God bless you all!

Happy Sunday  everyone,   I hear it is HOT where you are also.  Monsoons are hitting here in Arizona so we now have humidity as well as the heat. Even the natives are complaining.   Not my cup of tea but will survive and it helps Carlos when it is dry heat.  All is well otherwise.   Love to all   Darlene

Tx Update

Well hello, everyone.  It has been fun reading posts from various members from all over.  Knowing the seed of the site is in Spokane Area gives me some home feeling.  I figured it is time to get out of the corner and start to Dance.  I finally got the Aller Pictures printed off and sent to June (Aller) Heinemann in Porthill and Jane (Aller) Irons in Beumont, Tx.  Neither one of them had seen the pictures that they are even in.  June wished me to pass on her thanks to Leslie.  Even if June were to get a better computer,  the technology of great and fast connection has not yet reached Porthill.  I guess there is something to be said about that.  I asked June to look through her items to attempt to locate any pictures of the Mikesell Aller connection.  It got her excited to start looking.

Howdy!!!!

  Hey ya all.  I hope everyone is doing well.  Time sure passes by quickly.  I didn't realize how long it has been since I put the last message in here.  It's been busy here with getting things taken care of for Jeanne and myself, and our babies (Andy and Chris) graduating here soon (June 11th).  They are the last of the original grandchildren of Della Binder-Mikesell.  We are going to have a celebration on June 12th at Jeanne's house for the boys.  Andy will be going on to a culinary school in Phoenix, Arizona, probably leaving in July, and Chris has been accepted to Boise State University, so he will be leaving sometime in August.  Yeeeeeeee Haaaaaa

empty nest!!!!!!!!  Jeanne and I are truly looking forward to planning our older years without children (other than grandchildren someday).  We are already planning to sell our houses within the next two years, and move out to the north-east country some where, just outside of Spokane.  A friend of mine, whose daughter also graduates this year will be moving up here this summer sometime (Wanda).  She has severe fibromyalgia as I do, so we like to make fun of each other, and try to look on the bright side of things.  Also, I have a friend that I have known since high school (Frank Fitchner - the Winters know him as well), he will be moving here from Kansas City in about September.  It will kind of be a "Three's Company" type of household for a while. Frank will be a great help to us, as he is already planning on helping fix up my house where it needs it, etc..  It will be so nice to have my friends so close again.  For many many years my best of friends have lived all over the U.S., and I have missed having friends around.  It will also help financially for them to be here as well.  Wanda and Frank are also welcome to move out to the country with us as well.  We want to buy a big piece of acreage for family and friends.  We could probably have some family reunions out there, etc..  We sure can't do as much as we used to, yet we are going to surely do the things we can, when we can.  Being out of the city will be a lot less stressful for all of us, as that makes our symptoms worse too.  Jeanne also has fibromyalgia, so we don't know how long she will be able to keep on working either.  She is a real trooper.  I am still doing my crafts as I can, and Wanda likes to do them as well.  I also have an account at E-Bay, and will be going through boxes of stuff that I have had stored away for years, that I had bought at rummage sales, etc., that I will sell on E-Bay someday here. I was trying to put one of Chris' graduation pictures in my letter here, but I couldn't, so I will try and put them on my family page here at this site.  I have also been really planning for my future, as I have taken care of people all my life, and now I can't, so I now have to figure out what is right for me.  This might sound a bit selfish, but it has to be now.  I don't hardly go places any more, as it is a bit hard on me.  My friends, and some family members have been telling me for years that I needed to take better care of myself, and not so much other people, and I am finally listening.  I find that it makes it worse on people's conditions to be around negativity, so I have decided to surround myself by positive things, and people, and let me tell you, mentally I have been a lot happier.  I'm sorry, but all my life (unknown to mostly all of you) I have been treated very poorly by those around me, no matter what I have tried to do to please people, so now at getting close to 50 years (2006) I am finally learning that people are responsible for themselves, and have to do things for themselves before anyone can help them.  Thanks to my psychology courses too.  I feel like this is a new beginning in a new chapter in my life.  God didn't intend for anyone to suffer needlessly, or because others are suffering.  Help where you can, yet not at the expense of your own health.  With my boys, other family members, and friends, I just have to pray, and truly trust in God to take care of them because no one can help everyone, and no one should feel guilty about it.  Guilt is one of the biggest sins, I learned, and I believe it because it is such a negative feeling, and does no good for anyone.  Remember, if you are not happy with where you are at now, don't take it out on others, and search for your happiness.  Each and everyone of us has to make it happen, or it won't.  No one is ever too old to find some kind of happiness some where, so go for it.  No longer be a victim of surroundings, and past happenings, turn them around to be lessons, and move on.  Feel free to email me at my home email address if anyone wants to.  It takes me a while to respond, but I will eventually.  I guess that is all I have for now.  Hopefully, it won't take as long to write an email in here next time.  I'll try really hard.
