Hi again family, I'm sick of Winter (still had a snowfall last week), so I'm hoping Spring is here to stay awhile.

We have 9 members here now. Where are all our old members? I hope our members get/stay active and continue to add to our message board/blog and photo albums. I was very happy to see the new photos from Jaime and Naomi.

I am adding our Allen/Mikesell newsletters to our photo albums. There have been a lot of changes to our family since we had our family reunion picnics in Spokane and passed out the newsletters. I hope that next winter I can find time to add more of our old picnic photos. I really miss seeing everyone now that we don't have our picnics.

I talked to Evan on Easter morning. He was doing good and looking forward to Easter dinner where he lives now. Thelma and Wayne had the house to themselves as Ginny was off on another trip to Africa. Boyd and David are finally back to work after our hard winter. Sheryl is still going to night school.

I would love to see some comments/replies to this new blog. I'll add to it as I find time. I want to do some yard work to lose weight. Both the yard work and the weight creep up on a person.

"Anna Hultgen Feeney

Anna Hultgen Feeney, 61, for many years a resident of Murray died at the home of her sister, Mrs. E. Nygren, 902 East Twenty-seventh South street, Sunday at 1:50 p.m. after a long illness.

Mrs. Feeney was born in Oslo, Norway, February 16, 1876, a daughter of Anton and Julia Christensen Anderson. She came to the United States 48 years ago and made her home in Murray. In 1925 she moved to Rock Springs Wyo., but six weeks ago came to Salt Lake City to reside with her sister.

Surviving are her husband, F. W. Feeney; two daughters, Mrs. Ira Wardlow and Mrs. James Coles, Rock Springs, Wyo., a son Marlow Hultgren, Denver, Colo.; three sisters, Mrs. Oscar Swenson, Murray; Mrs. David Haun, West Jordan, and Mrs Nygren; six brothers, John Anderson, West Jordan; V. E. Anderson, Garfield; A. L Anderson, New Mexico; G. H. and C. L. Anderson, Salt Lake City, and R. W. Anderson, Murray, and four grandchildren."

"Inga H. Anderson
Funeral services for Mrs. Inga Hendricksen Anderson, 77, were held Wednesday afternoon in Murray Second Ward chapel, Bishop Webb Snarr officiating.

Speakers included Albert Larsen, D. H. Snarr and D. B. Brinton.

Mrs. H. W. Cannegieter of East 3 p.m. Second West street. She was born in Norway, September 25, 1864, a daughter of Hans and Ingaborg Jensen Hendricksen. She was married to Oscar M. Anderson, 48 years ago and had resided in Murray since. She was a member of the L. D. S. church.

Surviving are her husband, three sons, Wilford Anderson of Dubois, Idaho; Carl I. Anderson of Malad, Idaho, and Alonzo E. Anderson of Long Beach, Cal.; tow daughters, Mrs. Rachel A. Jensen of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Mildred Grubb of Los Angeles; a sister, Mrs. Hilda Thulin of Salt Lake City, and 17 grandchildren."

"Funeral service for Oscar Anderson, 73, were held Monday, May 3 in the ward chapel.

Mr. Anderson was born in Oslo, Norway Aug 8 1875. He came to this country when he was 8 years old.

He married Inga Henrickson, April 27, 1894. They built the home at 4640 South Second West where they have lived for almost fifty years. It was here that Mr. Anderson died going quietly to sleep, never to awaken. It was here also that his wife Inga died in 1942.

Mr. Anderson was employed by the American Smelting Co. for thirty years and was pensioned by that company in 1925.

Up until the time he began to suffer from heart trouble, he was active in ward activities.

Surviving are Willard Anderson of Dubois, Idaho, Carl I. Anderson of Wallace Idaho, and Alonzo A. Anderson of Long Beach, Calif. Also two daughters, Mrs. Rachel Jenson of Salt Lake and Mrs. Mildred Lynch of Murray."
