Stanley Johnson tells the story of his many trips as a youth on the Milwaukee Railroad. His stepfather, Frank Fiebelkorn worked 53 years as a passenger conductor. Forty years later Stanley retraces the depots such as Spokane Washington, Avery Idaho & Butte Montana. He also nterviews old-timers who mourn the loss of the Milwaukee Road. I found this book extremely interesting.
