Welcome to new member, Debsgarden2. Is that you Debbie W. my namesake? We're always glad to get new ACTIVE members. How about some baby photos? Hope to hear from you often.
Yes it is I, debbie Happy Easter, Or hop hop, Ken has set me up online. We had easter on the 10 th the kids , came over and we had dinner and handed out tape , they went to our garage, and went though their stuff for a yard sale.we have been storing all thier things. What fun. And what a lot of garbarge! The only way to get it done, was to feed them and send them to the garage. Then the egg hunt. Jade love it . she sure smash the eggs , putting them in her basket. and justin and thane found junk , they have lost for years. Justin took everyone junk home, that they could not part with or sell. jutin loves junk. It was a great day. love to take to anut leslie. love to you all and family. debbie.
Hey Deb, what an good way to get the work done. Wish I had thought of it! Did you get a photo of Jade? Would love to see her. Justin inherits his love of junk from me, but now I am trying to get rid of mine and Boyd's. I am planning to take my craft junk to Bev. She has some great ideas. I have no good ideas left, they accidently got deleted from my brain, I guess. Boyd's out mowing the lawn now and we put the outdoor furniture out, it's really warm today. We'll probably have a snow storm now that we're ready for summer. Leslie
Hi Aunt leslie, Mom is 70, today, she said dad did a little dance for her, and sang happy birthday. The yard sale is the funnyest I have seen . Justin took things home, we gave him a check for his birthday and heused it in the yard sale. While I was getting my hair done, and ken was getting things ready for next weekend . We had people stop by. He gave the hair dryer for dogs to a doggy shop, for 4, hair cuts and baths for lucky and genny our dogs. His brother stop by to with his wife, They took the aircondioner, said they would bring things over, for the trade. Others have come and gone, so when I went out too look, I didnt see, things we put in . or any money. So I would say not a yard sale , We have a trading post in our yard. But the yard sale in sat. and I dont think we have any thing left .Afew old mops that kens brother brought over. I dont think I do this again. I would rather go to someone eles yard sale. debbies yard trade.
We had a yard sale last year, and I think that I'd rather go to someone elses yard sale too. It's a lot of work. There is a lot in my basement that I want to get rid of. My husband doesn't want to part with it, so after the yard sale it seemed that we had the same amount of junk. But we did sell some big-ticket items, like old computers and a huge family tent that we'd grown out of. The funniest thing we sold was a coconut bra that I had used when preforming in a singing group I belong to. A 12 year old boy from the neighborhood was checking out the toys when his eyes fell on this bra displayed on the edge of the clothing rack. He asked what it was, so I showed him. He just had to have it... so much so, that he was jumping up and down and begging his mom for the money. She shrugged her shoulders and gave him money. He grabbed it and ran home giggling. I wanted to follow him to see what he was going to do with it.
Our singing group "Just For Fun" is having a garage sale on May 7 and 8 at Lidgerwood Presbyterian Church at Princeton & Nevada. They're talking about a BBQ with it. You should stop in and check it out.
Hello Deb Your yard sale sounds close to normal. I had 10 of them over a 5 year period, downsizing 50 years of junk and stuff but it was worth every bit of it and we still had enough to furnish the house in Sun City. I find Spokane is still cool but not as cold as when I came a couple of weeks ago. Darlene

Hi all you guys, please quit talking about yard sales. It makes me sad that I've got to give them up. I am getting rid of things, not collecting more. I sent a car load of craft items to Bev. I don't think she meant me to bring that much! I've burned 10 paper sacks full of paper from old files, and can see the floor of our storage room again. After I get rid of the junk I can start spring cleaning. Boyd & Lisa are planting vegetables today. Hope the deer let us have some of them. Debbie, I'd like to have seen Wayne do the dance & song for Thelma. How can your mom be so old when I'm so young? Oh well, we're both young in heart. Hope their visit with Jan goes well, should be a ball! I'm looking forward to Thelma & Wayne's visit to us in June. Darlene, we've got warm weather now here for you. I'm glad. Leslie
Yes I am glad I didn't take all the heat away. Been doing a lot of walking tho The church rummage sale is the 7th and 8th of May and they are blessed I have not a thing to send down or for them to come and get. They thank me as they got a lot as you all know. Our class reunion was small as cancer has envaded the class but we had a good time at the Golden corral. I have one granddaughter to see then I will be ready to go to Bryan's on my way home to windy and hot Phoenix area. Lynn and LaRaine will leave Grants Pass for here May 11th and I will miss them by 2 days but hope that all of you can get together while they are here for the school reunion on the 15th of May. Keep in touch with Mary Allen and I imagine you can get there thru Gerri Love to all Darlene
