Hello everyone!
This is a great idea. I'm not much of a phone person or letter writer so this is wonderful for keeping in touch with family. We at the Mirus house are all doing well. Amy is a sophmore at Augustana College in Rock Island, IL. She is at the moment majoring in chemistry and pre-med. Ryan is a Jr. in high school and playing hockey on the varsity team. He is also playing on a mens hockey team late at night. Melissa is a sophmore in high school and is now in drivers ed. I have only been out driving with her once. I guess I'm like my mom, Thelma. Mitch is still with the refrigeration company and is also the assistant coach of Ryan's hockey team. I am at home doing all the at home mom things. Would love to hear from everyone.
love, Jan
Hi Jan, Welcome to our family home page. Tell Anita to join too. I don't have her e-mail address. I'm having trouble getting this on, so if it goes through I'll write you another. Leslie
ReplyDeleteHi Jan, Welcome to our family home page. It's nice to find out what you kids are up to, firsthand. Tell Anita we'd like her to join too. Sounds like everyone's doing great. Add anything you want to our pages. I'd love to see some of your photos. Anyway now we're off to a good start. Nothing new with us since my last message except Boyd made some more jelly, elderberry this time. He's giving alot of it away. I'm helping the Kootenai County website by sending them photo's of the Harrison Idaho fire ca. 1917. I bought a photo album at a yard sale years ago & just now found a place for them. I attach a few each day to an e-mail. And I just love doing genealogy on the web. I'm going to set up some genealogy web pages soon to get my research to more distant cousins. We'll be looking for your input, so don't forget us. Leslie
ReplyDeleteHi Jan,This is wonderful to be able to read and send messages to each other so easy. It sounds like your family is really doing swell and I can't believe that they're that old now. We are all fine here but the kids all keep really busy too. Betty spent a good part of yesterday with me while Uncle Evan drove up to Chawela to play 9 holes with a friend and bring his golf cart back to town. Betty, Bev and I all went to lunch and had a real nice visit. This month she will be 76 and is not in the best of health but it is so fun to remember all the family things we did over the years. She remembers the details much better than I. She also probably knows how to spell Chewelah but I am not sure so I just put a phonetic spelling on it. We feel all the earth quakes that are happening along the Latah Creek (Hangman Creek) fault line they found we have here. A little scarry , but the largest was 3.7 so I guess we're lucky. that is for a place that nevers has earth quakes. I love to hear from you and get to hear how you all are. Give my love to Mitch and the kids and also to Anita and her family when you hear from her. Love and prayers; Aunt Della Ann
