On a happy note :-)

Hi ya all!
What's up???  Just thought I would let you know that my Ebay selling is going better all the time, and so I have been able to bring in some much needed extra money.  Not rich yet, but am making a little business out of it for myself.  Actually more of you should try it.  It is like one big huge yard sale on Ebay, and depending how you list, promote, watch the market (especially the "want it now" section of Ebay to get a feel for what people are looking for), etc., is how well your yard sale will go.  It also takes people being able to trust in you, and see that you are reliable, and that you are able to produce what you show.  Right now I have 100% feedback rate (positive).  I sell worldwide everything I can think of that is not nailed down (tee hee hee). This is a great way to make some extra money for people who are disabled, retired, etc..  I am selling some things for my sister Jeanne right now, and my niece Pam, as they don't have time to.  I would put myself out there to sell for all others who want me to, yet it is only me right now working this fun job.  I have to pace myself because of the pain, and exhaustion, but I'll tell you what, this has really given me something to look forward to each, and every day.  There are so many people worldwide that don't have access to items they want, and or need, so Ebay has helped that a lot.  Because I don't have a car (my son does now, yet he goes to school, and work and I never hardly see him), that does not stop me.  I opened a Paypal account (Paypal is a part of Ebay), and received my debit (Master card) from them.  Just like a bank.  I only accept payments through Paypal, and this way I don't have to deal with someone sending me a bad check, etc.. I also never mail anything out until payment is cleared by Paypal, and they will notify you when that happens via email.  This debit card is like one from a bank, and can be used any where, stores that you go to, etc..  Any way, I also bid on cheap shipping supplies, and some are donated to me ( such as boxes, shipping peanuts, etc.).  I do everything I need to do via the Internet. For a penny (plus a little shipping) I received 1600 shipping labels that I just stick in my printer, and then stick on the envelope, box, or what ever. It is so easy to do.  I invoice people, pay and print out shipping labels (customers pay for shipping, and $2.00 handling fee per package), and then schedule a pickup for boxes to be picked up by the post office, all online. If I am just sending gemstones, or jewelry, or something small that fit in the padded envelopes, I just set them out each day, and the letter carrier picks them up.  It is all so easy, it just takes time to learn.  I would be happy to show anyone what I have learned so far.  With some of the money I have made I have been investing in gemstones over seas, as they are so much cheaper there, and I get them here, and sell them for a lot more.  I sell bells, clothes, jewelry, the list goes on and on.  There is also a place on Ebay where if you want to sell something like a car, or something big, you would just check the part that says that the winner has to be able to pick up.  Ebay keeps track on "My Ebay" (so you can see what is happening) of all the transactions you do, or customers do.  It is all right there for you.  It is rather time consuming at times, as you want to leave positive feedback for your customers, and sellers, and they will do the same for you. This is another way to gain a positive reputation.  Any way, always remember that there is no such thing as "can't do it".  It takes a little while to get started, so don't give up.  Aunt Leslie, if you would like me to try selling your angel bears, or anything, I would be happy to do it.  There are rummage sales, yard sales, clearance stuff at the different stores, that you can buy, and resell for more on Ebay. The possibilities are endless, so look around your houses, and see what you don't use, or wear, etc., that are in good shape, and go for it.  I also will take donations of stuff to sell that maybe you were going to throw away, or donate some where else.  Aunt Leslie, I bet I can make you some good money on your bears too.  Who couldn't use extra money????  I hope I have given some of you some good ideas for starting your own little business.  It is a good investment to buy a computer, all-in-one printer machine, or just a regular printer, and an inexpensive little digital camera, and you are set.  It took me a few years or so to get these things, and I won my digital camera, but it can be done.  There are millions of people in the world that you can sell to, and you only have to start by selling stuff out of your own home.  If you want to use my seller's site as an example for reference I will include it at the end of my note here (or should I say book). It is such a blast to do, I know you will really enjoy it, and get excited about it once you really get into it.  On my site that you can look at, you will get to see the bidding, yet on the copy of it I get on "my Ebay", I not only get to see the bidding, but how many people have put my items on there watch columns, and are watching my different items, so that is exciting as well.  Any way, I better get to checking into "My Ebay", and start my day.  Here is my site you can look at:eBay Seller: purpleangel5689lp:, Decorative Collectibles, Glass items on eBay., or go to Ebay.com.
Donations can be sent to:  3017 E. 34th AVe., Spokane, WA  99223 (Bev Baker), and questions about any of this can be sent to my email address, which is  B9A19B56@aol.com.
Good luck everyone, and most of all have fun!  :-)
Have a great day!

Thank you Aunt Leslie

Hi Aunt Leslie,

Just wanted to thank you so much for the care package, and the copies of the papers, so I can send this to others.  This is a really neat package of sayings, and items.
Sorry it took me a while to send you the thank you.  Thank you again, and I hope you have a great day.  :-)
Love,
Bev

On a very serious note.

Hi everyone,

I try to write messages in here that are on a positive note, as I don't want to make anyone sad, but today I have to make a plea for help.  As you all know, I am on disability with severe pain, and exhaustion (among all the other problems as well).  When my youngest son graduated in June I lost over half of my income.  My son was in an accident about a month or so ago (Thank God he wasn't hurt), and I lost the only car (working) that I had.  I have helped people all my life, and have tried not to ask anything of others (even though there has been times I've had to).  I have raised my boys pretty much on my own, and dedicated my life to them.  I also dedicated my life to saving cats for over 30 years now (of which I have had to stop).  I helped take care of a couple of elderly neighbors of mine for over 9 years, and asked nothing for it.  I've always given food, money, rides, etc., through the years to friends, etc. that have needed it without expecting anything in return, as I have wanted them to go on and help others.  Right now though, I am in a terrible bind.  I am trying to sell my stuff on Ebay to earn some extra money, which isn't working as well as I thought it would, yet I am not about to give up.  It is the only way I know of to be able to help my situation out where I can sleep when I need to, and where I can try to deal with my pain.  I have had to walk to the stores to get some things, as I don't want to burden anyone else to take me places.  I guess what I am asking for is any donation (no matter how small) to help me get out of the rut I am in at this time.  I have always believed that family and friends help each other out, which is what I have always done, so I am praying for some help for me now.  I am sorry I felt the need to write this note here, but shortages of food, etc., are compelling me to do this, and I have been told that I make "just over the amount" for assistance through the state.  I have an account on Paypal.com, which I have a debit card for, and can use it at any store I walk to.  All that is needed is my email address, which is    b9a19b56@aol.com  and the transfer is really easy to do.  If you can't help out, then please please please keep me in your prayers (along with others as well), as I know some of you have hard times as well, and I wish I could help you out as well.  Any way, thank you for your time at reading my note here, take care, and my thoughts and prayers are with all of you always.

Very sincerely,
Bev Baker  (Binder/Allen/Mikesell)
